Worry vs. Prayer

quote-left

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

Is it time for you to move on from a “mountain” that you have been at too long?

  • Do you ever just flat-out get overwhelmed with the decisions you are required to make?
  • What is your first reaction – delegate | worry | “phone a friend” | or pray about it?
  • Is the mounting list of decisions effecting you? How?
  • A comfort that you don’t want to give up
  • A “molehill” that you have let turn into a mountain

If the Lord is engineering our plans and steps (Proverbs 16:9) then why don’t we first seek his direction for each decision?

Onward,
