18 The disciples of John the Baptist told John (while he was in prison) about everything Jesus was doing. So John called for two of his disciples, 19 and he sent them to the Lord to ask him, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”……22 Then he told John’s disciples, “Go back to John and tell him what you have seen and heard—the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.” 23 And he added, “God blesses those who do not fall away because of me.”
- Are you in one of those desert experiences and in doubt of why and what you are doing?
- Where do you seek confirmation?
- Do you seek it in winning contracts, recognition from others, in your balance sheet or in how he is working in you and those around you?
- How is God working in you and the lives of those around you – right now?
You are not alone! It takes a lot of FAITH for any Purpose-Driven Leader to stay the course! If you are currently (or the next time you are) in a place of doubt, know that God is present and is working all things to your and His good. Start looking for evidence. Looking down only gives you a 6-foot perspective!
